The Azores
Like pearls lost in the ocean, the Islands of the Azores are located in the North Atlantic, about 1,500 km west of Lisbon. The archipelago is formed by nine volcanic islands and has a total area of approximately 2,333 km2.
On these islands you will find places of extraordinary tranquillity and beauty, where the blue of the sea and of the hydrangeas and the green of the fields and mountains range in hue from one island to another. The crater lakes have a unique beauty and mystical charm, associated with ancient legends.
