The houses

As the houses were being rebuilt, we expressly tried to maintain their architecture, restoring the original volume of construction by using traditional materials and techniques. In addition some new elements were added aiming to improve the living conditions. These new elements are characterised by contemporary aesthetical options.

Some of the surrounding plots of land have been turned into gardens, where the peace and quiet of the countryside can be enjoyed. In the gardens, a wide range of ornamental plants can be admired. Some of these plants are endemic and some are fruit trees commonly seen in the backyards of Azorean rural houses.

For the interior decoration we used restored traditional antique furniture together with contemporary objects, in order to obtain high levels of authenticity and comfort.

Our houses offer you a range of leisure equipment that you can use inside or outside at no additional cost.
